About Janet Heighton
I am an Anglican Priest in parish ministry and an experienced amateur photographer.
My interest in photography began in childhood and has developed considerably since a workshop in 2012. The workshop gave me a working understanding of the exposure triangle and enabled me to move away from auto to take control of my photos.
My passion is to link my photography and my faith. I see photography as a spiritual exercise, enabling us to fully engage in the moment and stand in awe and wonder at the beauty of God's creation. It also enables us to express our own feelings and creativity.
